Electric Design Studio was initially contacted by Ken James, CEO of CMS Ltd, to redesign the company website. As conversations continued it was decided that the logo was also to be looked at and redesigned to fit in with the new website layout and design.
Starting with the logo, we researched the competition within the mortgage market and after presenting a number of ideas, settled on a classic house shape cut out against a round silhouette. A smart sans serif typeface was chosen to compliment the icon and so create a logotype that could work independently created a design that included an icon to work with social media as well as help build a recognisable brand and a logotype layout that could also work on its own as required. A suite of stationery was also provided.
The website was then developed using the new logo and a colour palette to compliment. A bespoke calculator was created for visitors to work out their potential costs if they were to invest in a mortgage.
